Alienware to Launch New M15x Gaming Laptop at Tokyo Game Show

Alienware has been putting out quite a few teasers lately for upcoming products. You can see one version at the promo site AllPowerful.com, or another in the video teaser embedded below. We’ve been wondering what exactly the teasers are about, especially considering that the AllPowerful site was used just recently to hype the coming of the Alienware M17x gaming laptop.
We need wonder no longer. Some subtle changes to the Alienware online store have tipped us off to what’s coming. You’ll notice on the Alienware site that you can’t purchase a new Area-51 M15x laptop anymore (only refurbished models are available). Even more intriguing is the fact that there’s only one Alienware desktop left in the store, the Area-51 X58.
Engadget has confirmed these absences in the store are deliberate and indicate the coming changes to the Alienware lineup. Alienware plans to unveil their new gaming rigs at the Tokyo Game Show as early as tomorrow, September 23.
The new lineup includes five new computers, including the new M15x, which is supposed to be the fastest 15-inch gaming rig on the market when it launches (it better be). Also included in the refresh are the dual-GPU Aurora and Aurora ALX desktops and the Area-51 and Area-51 ALX. Specs are still a complete mystery, though you can expect a full rundown when these new models are announced tomorrow. Hope you can stand the suspense.
