Averatec Unveils New 25-inch All-in-One Computer

We're usually not that excited about all-in-one computers because they're generally lacking in the spec category. Imagine our surprise when Averatec unveiled their new 25.5-inch all-in-one and we kinda liked what we saw. It's actually one of the best deals we've seen in an all-in-one in a while.

The Averatec D1200 is fully HD capable (up to 1080p) and obviously comes with a digital/analog TV tuner built in. This computer will make a great addition to an entertainment center. But the part that we really like is what you get for the price. For $1000 you'll get:

  • 2.5GHz dual-core E5200 processor

  • 320GB hard drive

  • 4GB of memory

  • Vista Home Premium (64-bit)

  • 8x DVD burner

  • 2 megapixel webcam

  • WiFi

  • gigabit Ethernet

  • Intel G4500HD graphics card

  • wireless remote

  • 1,920 x 1,200 display

That's actually quite a nice setup for a $1000 all-in-one. Of course, if you're looking to get the most for your money, a regular old desktop is still superior (but you probably won't be getting a 25-inch monitor with it too). On the other hand, if you want a sleek computer with a decent screen that can double as a TV and DVD entertainment center, this ain't bad.
