The HP Pavilion A1710n is a powerful yet inexpensive home computer, with a fast processor and 1 GB of system memory, you can do just about anything short of hardcore gaming or serious video editing easily.

But not everyone is a hardcore gamer. Some people use their computer for homework, research, watching movies, or keeping in touch with family and friends. The Pavilion A1710n was made with those purposes in mind. If you want to burn music to CD’s, or video to DVD’s, HP has you covered with a combination DVD+/- RW dual layer drive, that also burns CD-R media. While the mini tower is small, you still have up to 3 PCI slots should you need to add components like a sound card or more USB ports. Like to take photos or need to transfer data from your cell phone or PDA? The Pavilion A1710n has slots for the most common memory, including CompactFlash, Memory Stick, MMC, SD Cards, and xD-Picture Cards.

To top it off, the Pavilion also has a 320 GB hard drive, so you don’t need to worry about running out of space for your stuff. For the price, the HP Pavilion A1710n is among the best for home computing.
