Deal AlertWhile some people have gotten excited about the new MacBook Pros, some other people actually get excited for the inventory burnout sale. Apple has got to get rid of the old MacBook inventory somehow, and you can benefit from it.

Apple has authorized Apple stores to give significant discounts on last generation hardware in an effort to clean out the old stuff to make room for the new. But be aware, Apple stores are not required to give the discounts.

Apple Insider counts nine different discounts available.

  • MacBook Air: High end now $1699 ($800 off), low end model now $1399 ($400 off)

  • 2.66GHz 17-inch MacBook Pro: Glossy now $2299 ($500 off), Anti-Glare now $2349 ($500 off)

  • 15" MacBook Pro: High end now $1999 ($500 off), low end model now $1599 ($400 off)

  • 13" Aluminum MacBook: High end now $1299 ($300 off), low end model now $1099 ($200 off)

  • 13" White MacBook: Now $899 ($100 off)

A lot of these prices are lower than the pricing for their new counterparts, so if you aren't really concerned with the new upgrades, now is definitely the time to save some money on Macbooks.
