The Toshiba Satellite P105-S9722 is a midpriced notebook which includes some high end components that include built-in WiFi, and a top of the line NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900GS graphics card which has been shown to produce some of the best gaming performance of any video chipset. Also included are 2GB of RAM and a 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor which is a user favorite because of its speed and reliability.
The Satellite P105-S9722 is decked out with an enormous 200GB hard drive. While the hard drive is extremely large, it does spin at 4200RPM which is slower than most modern laptop hard drives. Toshiba also decided to include Windows XP with this laptop instead of Windows Vista. This helped to keep the price lower as well as provide better gaming and office functionality.
Many expert reviews were quite impressed with the Satellite P105-S921’s gaming performance. It produced gaming frame rates which were nearly as fast as some hardcore gaming desktop computers but at a much lower price. Many of the users that commented also enjoyed the high end 3D gaming performance as well as the basic office performance associated with the large amount of memory and fast processor.
