Mac vs. PC: The Battle Finally Caught on Tape!

Finally, someone has been able to articulate the debate between Macs and PCs in an easy-to-understand, non-technical sort of way. Sorry, John Hodgman and Justin Long; you're funny but biased. What better way to showcase the eternal duel between Mac and PC than with a chill hipster and a business nerd stereotype?

Add some Transformers Bay-hem, that's how! Click through to see the battle royale.

As you can see, the real criteria for choosing a Mac or a PC comes down to what kind of hand weapons you prefer (c'mon Apple, give the guy something better than a blender attachment, PC has a full-on sword for Jobs' sake!) and how fast you need to travel (as you can clearly see, PC users will want to upgrade to XP if you want faster chasing speeds).

Whoever the genius was behind this clip was needs a huge pat on the back, and then a slight slap on the wrist. The dialogue at the beginning could have used some serious attention, but I guess we can forgive that considering how long it probably took to do all the CGI. Maybe if you can get some of Hodgman's quipy wit in the intro, this would be the ultimate video ever. And then he wouldn't feel bad about losing his advertising job to some laptop that likes to make fruit smoothies with his whirring fingers.

In the meantime, you can check out the rankings of netbooks and laptops (without the transforming bit) or keep on surfing the tech bloggity:
