New All-in-One from MSI Announced, Looks Good

The all-in-one desktop computers have been making great strides in the computer market over the last few years. They still aren’t overtaking traditional laptops, and nothing can touch the increasing sales of laptops and netbooks, but more and more companies are offering them. The latest example, MSI’s Wind Top AE2010.
The Wind Top AE2010 is next step up from the AE1900, another all-in-one offered by MSI. The AE2010 improves on the internal hardware and offers pretty nice performance for the price.
The screen itself is 20-inches and surrounded by a clear plastic bezel that also functions as the stand for the whole device. The screen features a 1600 x 900 pixel resolution; not the best, but definitely good. Inside you’ll find the AMD Athlon X2 Dual Core processor, which is a nice improvement over the previous versions that sported Atom processors. That alone will make the all-in-one more powerful for everyday computing. MSI also threw in a respectable graphics card, the ATI Radeon 3200, meaning this computer will be able to handle some serious media, and maybe even a game or two if you’re so inclined.
For memory, the Wind Top AE2010 sports 4GB of DDR2 533MHz SDRAM and a 320GB hard drive. And continuing the media-centric theme, there are six USB ports and a 4-in-1 card reader to handle all your media devices.
You’d expect all that in an all-in-one form factor to run pretty expensice, but you might be surprised. The Wind Top AE2010 will only be $650 and will become available in September.
