This monitor is meant for work, however, not play. Designers and image editors should find it a boon to their productivity. The HP LP3065 is well worth the price.
Image quality and color accuracy out of the box aren’t quite up to the level of the Samsung, and bizarrely (considering its S-IPS panel) the viewing angles on the L3065 didn’t appear quite as solid as on the 305T.
Overall, the LP3065 delivers everything you'd expect from an advanced IPS panel, but on a grander scale than before, and the 2,560 x 1,600 wide-aspect pixel array remains a life-altering experience.
Granted, you do get excellent image quality and lots of room to spread out in and if you crave viewing detail in your photos and documents, the LP3065 might be worth the splurge.

A large 30" LCD is definitely a luxury that only a few people are willing to afford, but if you have the money and other hardware necessary, using a computer takes on a whole new dimension with such a display. G
The LP3065 is not a monitor for everyone. These early 30″ models are for specialty/professional users and high-end buyers who want the biggest display out there.
