Samsung's 215TW is a top-quality monitor, perfectly suited to home and work use. Viewing angles are excellent and the picture quality can't be faulted.
The Samsung SyncMaster 215TW is without a doubt, a winner. Awesome color reproduction, great brightness and clarity, good backlighting, tons of inputs, quick response, excellent ergonomics, HDCP and a good size. What more could you ask for?
The 215TW still has a couple minor flaws compared to smaller panel displays, but is one of the best we have seen in its class. And it's obvious that the class is changing for the better.

In a nutshell, the Samsung SyncMaster 21-inch 215TW is definitely worth checking out as an upgrade from a budget display, but don't be lured in by the multimedia pitch; it would have been cheaper and better as a straightforward display.
The brightness is appreciably lower than the NEC panel, but none of the other 20" monitors we've tested was streets ahead of Samsung's SyncMaster 215TW in the brightness department.
It's not cheap but it does have an impressive array of features, particularly when it comes to adjustment and connectivity and - with the HDCP support - a degree of future-proofing too.
