The Dell Mini 10 promised a lot of features that it didn’t deliver at launch, but has been slowly adding over time, so if you’ve been waiting, the Mini 10 is finally getting to where it was supposed to be at launch. The latest addition: geolocation and navigation.

The new features will be available starting next week and will include a full A-GPS+Wi-Fi system with CoPilot navigation software and network location services from SkyHook. The FireFox or IE browsers on the netbook will also come with the Loki plugin that integrates the Mini 10 with a location aware web portal and sites that support location-based info (Flickr, Loopt, BrightKite, etc.). All this is being called the Dell Wireless 700 location solution, and has no pricing info as of yet.

Might not be useful for the average user, but if you’re packing your Mini 10 around to a lot of unfamiliar places, you might find it handy.
