HTC Working on Android Netbook?

We're really loving some of the phones HTC will be rolling out soon, so we're excited to hear any other news about upcoming HTC devices. We just didn't expect this. Today reports are popping up that HTC is in cahoots with T-Mobile (of course, who else would it be) to bring a 3G-capable netbook to market running Android.

All this comes from an obscure, anonymous tipster, so there is no way to gauge the odds of this being true. The tipster said this Android-powered netbook would have 3G capabilities courtesy of T-Mobile, and could be available by the end of the year.

There's nothing more on the netbook for now, but we're willing to be optimistic about the rumor just by virtue of the fact that several companies are working on Android netbooks right now. Why wouldn't HTC?
