New Vaio P Line Out This Fall
There hasn’t been a whole lot in the blogosphere about the Vaio P other than jabs and gripes about the slow startup times and the overwhelming price tag. And we’ve made a few comments about Sony’s refusal to brand the pocket-friendly computer as a netbook. But according to Sony the Vaio P series has done well enough to market a whole new line of Vaio Ps coming out again this fall.
Aside from that, we don’t know anything. Sony gives us no clue on specs or any kind of details to get us excited. In fact the only thing we know is that the original Vaio P, that recently got an upgrade to make it as fast as a normal netbook (now you know how slow it was before), has done pretty well in certain “niche markets”. We can only assume this is show-offs and those who enjoy pulling their computer out of their pocket during business meetings.
