It looks as if Nokia has upped the netbook ante with their announcement of their Booklet 3G. Let’s be clear first, Nokia isn’t calling it a netbook, but we are.

It features everything that distinguishes netbooks from regular laptops: 10 inch screen, Atom processor, and built in wireless. Here’s where it gets tricky: the 10 inch display is higher resolution than your typical netbook and it has integrated 3G wireless with a hot-swappable SIM card. It also appears to be running Windows 7 and has a built in GPS and 12 hour battery.

We don’t have any pricing or release date information, but chances are they will be revealed at Nokia World 09 on September 2.
