Nokia to Release Android Netbook in 2010?
Months ago, Nokia hinted they might be headed into the laptop market. Today we're hearing what may be a little clarification on that, namely that Nokia will have an Android netbook on the market by 2010.The analyst who said this, Lazard Capital Markets analyst Daniel Amir, said the Nokia netbook will be sold through mobile carriers that already carry Nokia phones and would be ARM-based with an Android OS. We're not entirely sure how well this news jibes with Nokia and Intel's recently announced partnership. Perhaps Nokia really is looking into both netbooks with ARM processors and laptops with higher-end Intel chips (we're not buying the story that Nokia has Intel on the backlist in case the ARM thing doesn't work out).
